Terriers win close game over the Blues

The Terriers played their 3rd game in 3 days last night at the Ice Plex versus The Winnipeg Blues. Brad Bowles opened the scoring on the power play in the 1st period at 8:29 with assists from his brother Shawn and Brett Orr. Brad would then bury his 8th goal of the weekend just a minute and 16 seconds later which would prove to be the game winner.

The second period was a physical one ending in no scoring for either team. The Blues would show some life with just 1:47 left in the 3rd with a goal from Taeron Lewis to pull within one, but the Terriers were able to hold them off for the win.

Nathan Park recorded his 5th win of the regular season and the Terriers sit in 1st two points ahead of the Winkler Flyers.

The Terriers next home game is this Saturday against the Swan Valley Stampeders, game time 7:30pm.
