The 6th Annual Geno Romanow Par 3 Challenge will be held on Friday September 12th at the Portage Golf Club and we want to see you there!
Email portageterriers@outlook.com to register. Registration is $125 per golfer and proceeds from the event will be going to support the Portage Terriers.
Every hole on the course will be converted to a par 3 and “closest to the pin” prizes can be won on every hole. Registration opens at 11:30 am, and the tournament begins with a shotgun start at 1 pm. All golfers will receive a take home item, Terrier ticket and more. Prizes will be awarded following the tournament. More details to come.
Golfers will need to secure a cart for the event on their own. Carts are available through the Portage Golf Club on a first come first serve basis. Please call the clubhouse at (204) 857-6177.
We renamed our annual golf tournament in honour of our dedicated trainer Geno Romanow, who sadly passed away May 8, 2020. A Fund has been created in his memory with the Community Foundation of Portage and District. Please contact them at cfpdi.ca if you wish to donate.
