The Portage Terriers are partnering with the local ag community for a new fundraiser called “Harvest 4 Hockey”.
Community owned and operated, the Portage Terriers are part of the fabric of Portage la Prairie. We develop young men to not only be better hockey players, but better community members. By supporting the Terriers, it helps to provide local safe, fun and affordable family entertainment. It takes the entire community to be able to run a successful Junior “A” hockey team.
We are asking local area farmers to donate a portion of their harvest to the Terriers, with the money going towards capital projects.
HOW IT WORKS
Option 1: Select a number of acres of a type of crop. Example, 10 acres of canola.
Once harvest is complete on that field, donate the income from the selected acres to the Terriers. Example, Your 10 acres of canola yielded 40 bushels per acre. If canola is selling for $12 per bushel, the donation would be $4,800.
Option 2: Make a donation at the amount of your choosing.
All donations prior to December 1, 2025 will receive an entry to win a pair of Jets single game tickets.
Donations exceeding $1,000 will receive 10 regular season Terrier flex tickets and an invite to the suite for the Harvest 4 Hockey night.
We are excited to have you join our Harvest 4 Hockey Fundraiser! To learn more and to join the program, please contact Terrier board member Brad MacDonald at cattlemen8586@gmail.com.
