Changes at the Trade Deadline Acquires Hometown Product

With yesterday’s trade deadline coming to a close, Portage was involved in 3 transactions.

The Terriers have acquired 97 F  Tanner Garnham (5’10”, 165lbs) from the Swan Valley Stampeders for future considerations. Tanner has 8 points this season and coming to Portage allows him to play his final year in his hometown.

The Terriers have traded 97 F  Turner Santin to his hometown Thunderbay North Stars of the SIJHL for future considerations. The veteran Terrier forward has 11 assists this season.

The Terriers have also traded  00 G Brendan Benoit to Neepawa for 00 G Myles Minor and future considerations. Minor (6’0″ 170lbs) has played 32 games for the Winnipeg Wild of the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League. He has a 2.09 GAA and a .917 SV%.
