The Portage Terriers were in Winnipeg yesterday to participate in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League Bantam Draft. The Terriers added 7 prospects to the organization including two auto protects.
“We did a lot of work to prepare for the draft and are pleased with the mix of players that we added to the fold. We added some players of substance and two of the top forwards in the province.” said Terriers Head Scout Frank Harding.
The Terriers Organization is pleased to welcome these young players to the Terriers family and look forward to having them at Main Camp.
Below is a breakdown of yesterday’s draft. Including the auto protect prospects. In total the Terriers selected 3 forwards, 3 defenseman and a goaltender.
