Portage Terrier Alumni Night

The Portage Terriers are excited to see many former players and fans at our special Alumni night scheduled for Saturday Oct. 30, 2021 when the Terriers host the Selkirk Steelers at 7:30 pm.

Please come early for the opening tribute for former Trainer and Equipment Manager Geno Romanow who passed away in May 2020. We will unveil signs that will stay in the arena to honour his dedication and commitment to the Portage Terriers. For fans that are unable to attend, the tribute will be broadcast live on Instagram and later shared to Facebook.

The Portage Terriers’ history dates back to the 1930’s and 40’s and during the first intermission on Saturday, 11 former Terriers who went on to play in the NHL will have new shadow boxes unveiled.

All alumni who attend are encouraged to check in at the table by the East doors and will receive a free drink. Alumni are also encouraged to stay after the game in the Daily Graphic room to hang out and share memories of Geno and their time with the Terriers.
