Terriers Best Blues for the 4th Time this Season

Knaub a big presence in front of the net scores his second as a Terrier on a redirect on the power play.

Last night the Blues hosted the Terriers at the Ice Plex in their 4th meeting this season.

Play was back and forth the entire game. The Terriers were first on the board at 6:42 of the 1st with a power play goal from Brakel who stepped out on Gnidziejko and tucked it in off the post. The Blues would counter with a power play marker of their own at 11:42 by Snoek. The Terriers would get it right back 24 seconds later on a goal from the rookie Sokoloski. The period would end tied as Mutch beat Park at 17:09.

Knaub redirects a shot from Orr on the power play to once again give the Terriers a one goal lead. This was short lived as 2 minutes later MacGillivray would score on the odd man rush. Once again the teams would head to the dressing room tied.

In the 3rd Leininger strips the puck from Browning and scores an unassisted goal 5 hole which would prove to be the game winner. Bowles would add an empty netter with 30 seconds left in the game for a 5-3 win.

The Terriers were 2 for 4 and the Blues were 1 for 7 on the power play.

The Terriers remain in 1st with 36 points, 5 points up on the second place Flyers. The Terriers now have a 3 game home stand starting Saturday November 14th at the PCU, game time 7:30.

Injured Player

Newly acquired defenceman Braden Pettinger was injured late in the 3rd on a fall in to the boards. He was removed from the ice by paramedic. The Terriers thank everyone for their calls and emails regarding the status of Braden, we have nothing to share at this time.
