Terriers win big over the Blizzard

Sokoloski opens the scoring unassisted with his 7th of the season.

The Terriers bounced back from their recent loss with a big win over OCN last night. The Terriers offence took it to the Blizzard early and often in the 8-2 final.

Sokoloski would start the scoring at 4:20 of the first going blue line to goal in an unassisted effort. Roulette tied the game for the Blizzard on a blooper glove side on Josh Bykowski to end the first period.

Portage would go on a tear in the 2nd and leave OCN behind. Brakel would score just 58 seconds in to the period followed by Knaub (2) and Henry for a 5-1 lead after 40 minutes.

The Blizzard would get one back in the 3rd but Brakel would bury his 2nd of the night, Hendrix would tuck one by Boily and Knaub would finish the hat trick and the Terriers would earn a decisive win over the Blizzard.

Josh Bykowski with his 2nd win for Portage turning away 22 of 24 shots.

The Terriers last game before the break is tonight in Neepawa game time 7:30pm.
