Terriers Give Back!

The Portage Terriers had a successful regular season on the ice, finishing 1st in the standings. It was an even bigger success off the ice!

The team has been busy participating in numerous charitable events:

  • The Rotary Veggie Sale
  • 3CFFTS family day
  • Terry Fox walk
  • Skate with the Terriers
  • Special Olympics’ windup
  • Minor hockey practices
  • Christmas Parade
  • “Learn to skate” program with the Family Resource Centre
  • Salvation Army Christmas Kettle
  • Lions Club food drive
  • Weekly floor hockey program with Big Brothers Big Sisters
  • Visiting over 12 different schools all over the region for I Love to Read Month.

This also doesn’t include all of our stops at local schools delivering tickets for the McDonald’s Classroom of the Game.

We are proud to be a part of the community!
