Terriers make changes to their blue line

Dwyer returns to Portage Photo by Christopher Mast

The Terriers have traded the CJHL playing rights of Thomas Lenchyshyn to the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL for future considerations.

Portage acquired Lenchyshyn a 97 defenceman from the Dauphin Kings prior to the start of this season. Lenchyshyn earned 3 points in 15 games played.

Portage welcomes back Mackenzie Dwyer as he was released from the Everett Silvertips of the WHL and will be joining the Terriers line up.

Dwyer was a part of the 2015 RBC Championship team as a 17 year old. The 97 defenceman will be a welcome addition to our blue line as he suits up for tomorrow night’s game at home against the Steinbach Pistons.
