Faulkner celebrates with former team mates Bowles and Orr.
It was another quick start for the Terriers with the 1st goal of the game coming at 6:30 of the 1st. Chase Faulkner, former Terrier, fan favorite and RBC Cup Champ was an AP tonight and first to score on a wrister from the top of the circle. Hendrix and Bowles would follow up with goals of their own and the Terriers would finish the first with a 3 goal lead and 11-2 in shots over the Stampeders.
Adam Wowryk would score his 9th goal of the season just 1:37 in to the 2nd period with help from Brakel and Haiskanen. The Stampeders would show some life just a few minutes later on their lone goal from Langan. Weston would then squeak one 5 hole on Evans for the Terriers 5th goal.
The 3rd period would be scoreless and the eventual final was 5-1 Terriers. The rookie Klassen would notch his 2nd win in net for the Terriers.
The Terriers next game is Sunday November 1st when they play host to the Winnipeg Blues. Game time 6:30pm and game sponsor RBC.
