In the first trade of the off season, Coach and GM Blake Spiller acquires Cole Thompson a defenceman from the Minnesota Iron Rangers of the SIJHL for future considerations.
The 98 left shooting defenceman is a Devils Lake, North Dakota native standing 6’2 weighing 175 pounds. Thompson suited up for 45 games last season for the Iron Rangers scoring 10 goals and earning 23 assists.
